Chris Oggerino has been with Cisco for 22 years and in the technology business for 35. Originally a software engineer, Chris now works in marketing in support of Cisco DevNet.

Chris has many publications in magazines, such as Network Computing, and a book entitled, “High Availability Network Fundamentals”.

Early innovations include software to enhance modem communications in the UNIX operating system and network device configuration software. Later innovations include the first Cisco Smart Service and associated patent.
